Governor Bentley Expresses Gratitude for Service of Chief Justice Sue Bell Cobb

MONTGOMERY – Governor Robert Bentley today issued the following statement regarding the retirement of Chief Justice Sue Bell Cobb:

“I want to thank Chief Justice Cobb for her years of service to the people of this state. She has been a dedicated and enthusiastic public servant, always mindful of the needs of others. As we begin the process of finding the replacement for the Chief Justice, my goal is to find someone with the judicial and administrative experience needed for this important position. I would like to appoint someone as soon as possible after the vacancy occurs, but I will not be limited by a timetable.”
