No Bully Here Day
WHEREAS, the people of Alabama foster the importance of brotherhood, peace and community by building coalitions and strengthening bonds through the basic principles of unity and friendship; and
WHEREAS, the State of Alabama displays its commitment to solidifying global friendship and peace among all people; and
WHEREAS, the celebration of No Bully Here Day will involve all communities, respecting the differences among cultures and lifestyles; and
WHEREAS, No Bully Here Day is intended to connect all people, ideas, views and religious beliefs together for the purpose of unity:
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Robert Bentley, Governor of Alabama, do hereby proclaim September 30, 2011, as
No Bully Here Day
in the State of the Alabama.
