Proclamation

By the Governor of Alabama

WHEREAS, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is an organization commiteed to rendering services on a national and international scale; and

WHEREAS, the members of this outstanding organization are dedicated to improving the quality of life within their communities; and

WHEREAS, this renowned sisterhood sponsors many community service projects that have benefitted countless individuals in Alabama; and

WHEREAS, it is both proper and rewarding to honor the ladies of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, for their diligent service and remarkable leadership; and

WHEREAS, in recognition of their service and leadership, the members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, will meet at the Alabama State House and the Alabama State Capitol in Montgomery, Alabama, on Thursday, February 18, 2016:

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Robert Bentley, Governor of Alabama, do hereby proclaim February 18, 2016, as

Delta Day

in the State of Alabama, and do hereby commend the members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, for their outstanding community service.
