Prison Transformation Initiative Act - Office of the Governor of Alabama

Alabama Governor Robert Bentley announces the Alabama Prison Transformation Initiative Act at the state Capitol, Tuesday, February 23, 2016, in Montgomery. The legislation, sponsored by State Rep. Steve Clouse and State Sen. Trip Pittman, provides for the construction of four modern prison facilities, three male facilities and one women’s facility.
