Governor Bentley Issues Statement in Reponse to Terrorist Attacks in Brussels

MONTGOMERY — Governor Robert Bentley on Tuesday issued a statement in response to the terrorist attacks in Brussels, Belgium.

“The news out of Brussels this morning is tragic. My thoughts and prayers go to the families of those injured or killed in the bombings. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) and its Fusion Center are in regular contact with federal partners in the intelligence community. There are no known imminent threats to Alabama, but ALEA will stay in close contact with its federal partners as the day continues. As always, we encourage everyone to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity. If you See Something, Say Something. Citizens can report suspicious activity to the ALEA Fusion Center at s4.alacop.gov or by calling local law enforcement.”
