Neal Morrison is currently serving on Governor Robert Bentley’s Cabinet as the Commissioner of the Alabama Department of Senior Services.

Before joining the Cabinet, Commissioner Morrison served as the Executive Director of the North Central Alabama Regional Council of Government in Decatur, where he oversaw aging programs in Cullman, Lawrence and Morgan counties. Commissioner spent 17 years with the Alabama Two Year College System serving in various positions from Director of Adult Education, work force training, economic development to interim President of Bevill State Community College. Commissioner Morrison is a former legislator, where he represented District 12 in the Alabama House of Representatives for 13 years. Commissioner Morrison is a life time member of the American Council of Young Political Leaders. Commissioner Morrison is married to Tracy and has two daughters and one granddaughter.

Commissioner Morrison received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Athens State University and his Juris Doctorate from the Birmingham School of Law.
